iQ Pest Control are looking for an experienced pest control technician ideally already holding RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management, although this is not required if the applicant has at least 2 years’ experience in pest management.

iQ Pest Control are a growing top rated local business based in Brackley in South Northamptonshire. We provide pest control services to commercial, public sector and residential customers across the Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire areas.

Experienced Pest Control Technician – Job Role & Responsibilities

The successful candidate from day one will receive training, this will involve accompanying experienced and qualified pest control technicians in the field. This will enable the technician to learn how iQ Pest Control complete treatments for all UK pest species. When you have received adequate training and experience your job responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Visiting customers to complete pest control treatments at their homes or businesses

• Routine pest control inspections and treatments at customer sites such as supermarkets, shops, restaurants, public houses, waste transfer sites, manufacturing facilities, offices, farms, nursing homes, nursery schools, stately homes etc.

• Pest prevention work, for example bird deterrent installations or rodent proofing.

• Working as part of a team on occasion but predominantly lone working

Experienced Pest Control Technician – Applicant Requirements

• Applicants must have at least 2 years of pest control experience and/or hold RSPH Level 2 in Pest Management

• Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence

• Applicants must have a “can-do” problem solving attitude

• Applicants must have a meticulous and thorough approach to their work, close attention to detail is required at all times

• Applicants must have good verbal communication skills

• Initial starting salary of £30,000

  • Commission package

• Contracted hours: 8 hours per day – Monday to Friday

  • During busy periods overtime may be available.
